For CSA farms and farm shares

Your CSA, without the spreadsheet.

Seasons, share sizes, payment plans, swaps and pack lists by pickup spot — all in one place, with your members' money going straight to your own Stripe account. We're building it with a small group of founding farms first.

Sign-up season shouldn't take all winter.

Checks in the mail, a spreadsheet of who paid, who's on half shares, and who swapped pickup days. Then the texts start: “Is it Tuesday or Wednesday?” You grow the food. The paperwork shouldn't grow faster than the kale.

How it will work

Four steps to a CSA that runs itself.

  1. Set up your season

Pick the weeks, the share sizes and the add-ons. Twenty weeks of full and half shares, with eggs or flowers on the side.

  2. Members join online

They choose a share and a pickup spot, then pay in full, in installments or with a deposit. The money lands in your Stripe account.

  3. Post this week's share

Members swap or add items until the cutoff you set, so the pack list is final when you start harvesting.

  4. Pickup day runs itself

Pack lists sorted by pickup spot, a reminder for members the day before, and one tap to mark it ready.

Everything a farm share needs.

Seasons that start and stop on their own

Sign-up opens and closes when you say. Charges stop at season's end, and late joiners are prorated.

Full, half and family shares

Plus add-on shares (eggs, flowers, bread) that ride along on the same pickup.

Pay in full, in installments or with a deposit

Members pick what works for their budget. You stop chasing checks.

Pack lists by pickup spot

“42 half shares for the church lot, 18 full for the farm stand,” with totals per crop.

Waitlists and renewals

Sold out? A waitlist opens. Returning members get first dibs and early-bird pricing.

Bring your members with you

Import your list from a spreadsheet or another platform. Each member gets a one-click link to add their card.

“Cook this week's box” emails

Recipes and storage tips built from what's in the share, so less kale ends up in the compost.

Skips, pauses and vacation weeks

Members skip or pause from their account. You can move a pickup, or give the whole share a week off.

Pay-what-you-can and gift shares

Sliding-scale prices, members chipping in for a neighbor's share, and “a summer of vegetables” for Mom.

Be on the farm-share map.

Families looking for a CSA near them search our farm-share directory. Your farm shows up there, linked straight to your sign-up page.

Founding farms

Be one of our founding farms.

We're building this with a small group of farms who want a say in how it works. Founding farms get:

  • Early access, in time for sign-up season
  • A direct line to our team for help and requests
  • Pricing before anyone else

Questions farms ask.

When can I start?

We're opening to founding farms first. Join the list and we'll be in touch as soon as your spot is ready.

What will it cost?

We'll share pricing with founding farms first. Members pay by card straight into your own Stripe account, and Stripe's standard processing fee applies.

Can I take payment for the whole season up front?

Yes. Members can pay in full, in installments, or put down a deposit now and pay the rest later.

Can members pause a week or switch pickup spots?

Members can skip or pause from their own account, and you can move a member's pickup for them or give the whole share a vacation week.

I already have members. Can I move them to Butter & Sage?

Yes. Import them from a spreadsheet or another platform, and each one gets a one-click link to add their card.

Do members need an account?

They create one when they sign up, so they can see their share and pickup details.

Spend sign-up season in the field.
