My Drops: Weekly and Limited-Time Product Drops

What This Page Does

Drops control exactly when customers can order and when those orders are ready. Think of it as your shop’s ordering calendar. When a drop is open, shoppers see a countdown on your shop page and can only add to cart during the window.

Find it at Grow My Business → My Drops.

Three Drop Styles

  • Weekly — the same days every week. Orders open Monday, close Wednesday, pickup Saturday.
  • Limited Batch — a one-off run with a set number of units. When it sells out, it is done.
  • Seasonal — a longer window on set dates, like holiday pre-orders.

Setting Up Your Drops

  1. Flip Enable Drops on my store page on. While it is off, everything below stays greyed out.
  2. Pick Your Drop Style.
  3. Fill in the schedule. Weekly: the day and time orders open and close, and your pickup day and time. Limited Batch: press Create a drop and add the name, open and close times, pickup date and how many you are making. Seasonal: what you make each season and your next-drop announcement.
  4. Add a Tagline so shoppers know the rhythm: “Fresh sourdough every Saturday.”
  5. Weekly drops also have This Week’s Menu. Tick what is available this time, or leave it all unticked to show your whole menu.
  6. Press Save Drop Settings at the bottom.

Tip — Nothing changes on your shop page until you press Save Drop Settings. If your changes “didn’t stick”, that is almost always why.

Telling Your Customers

Notify Subscribers on the same page emails your list when a drop opens (Maker and Bloom), and on Bloom it can text subscribers who opted in too.

Want a graphic for Instagram? Social Studio’s Weekly Menu can fill itself in from your next drop.

Taking a Break From Drops

Turn Enable Drops off and save. Your settings stay exactly as you left them for next time.
