Review Requests: Automating Post-Purchase Reviews

What This Page Does

Review Requests sends your customers a polite, automatic email a few days after their order is marked complete, asking them to leave a review. It’s the single most effective way to grow your review count — and once it’s set up, you never have to think about it again.


How to Set It Up

  1. Go to Review Requests in your dashboard.
  2. Enable the feature (it’s off by default).
  3. Set the send delay — we recommend 3–5 days after order completion. Enough time for the customer to have used/tasted/enjoyed the product.
  4. Customize the email message if you want — the default is warm and on-brand, or you can make it sound more like you personally.
  5. Save. That’s it.

What Customers Receive

A friendly email with your shop name, a summary of what they ordered, and a direct link to leave a review. No pressure — just a reminder that their feedback means a lot to a small food business.


Why Reviews Matter

Studies consistently show that buyers trust reviews from strangers almost as much as recommendations from friends. A shop with 30 reviews sells significantly better than an identical shop with 5.
