It didn’t take long for her mom to notice that Kate had something special: a natural talent for taste, flavor, and creativity in the kitchen.

By her junior year of high school, Kate wasn’t just dreaming... she was doing! In 2022, along with her mother and brother, she officially launched Kit’s Place Creations, debuting her very first blend: a bold, savory meatloaf seasoning that quickly became a customer favorite. Every recipe is her own, thoughtfully crafted to make cooking easier and more delicious for busy families like hers.

Now, her collection includes 12 unique seasoning blends, available online, at local markets, and in-store at The Crafting Corner in Sandwich, IL. Each product is rooted in family traditions, designed to bring home cooked comfort with just a sprinkle.

Kate’s passion doesn’t stop at spice jars. She’s currently attending college full-time for Food Science and Business, is a proud member of her school’s entrepreneurship club, and has earned four culinary competition medals—proving she’s as sharp in the kitchen as she is in business.

Her future goals are as rich as her blends: Kate hopes to give back to the community by offering cooking classes and demos at local libraries and community centers. She wants to help people feel confident in the kitchen and show them that flavor doesn’t have to be complicated.
