What This Page Does
Store Settings is where you fill in the fundamentals of your shop — the information customers see when they visit your store page and what powers local search results on Butter & Sage Market.
What to Fill In
- Store Name — your business name as it should appear everywhere. Keep it consistent with your packaging and social media.
- Store Description — your mini elevator pitch. 2–4 sentences about what you make, how you make it, and why customers should care. Write in first person: “I’ve been making wildflower honey on our family farm for…”
- Logo — upload your logo here. Shown as a circle on your store page and next to your product listings in the marketplace. Square images work best.
- Banner Image — the large hero image across the top of your store page. Best: a wide, high-quality photo of your products or kitchen. Minimum width: 1200px.
- Address — used for local search (“honey near me”) and the map on your store page. Uses your general location — not displayed as a clickable address unless you enable it.
- Phone — optional, but useful for custom order inquiries.
- Contact Email — where customer messages go. Can be different from your login email.
- Store Slug — the URL of your store: butterandsagemarket.com/store/your-slug. Set this carefully — changing it breaks existing links and requires a new QR code.
Finding Your Store URL
Your store URL is butterandsagemarket.com/store/ followed by your store slug. You can also ask Bea: “What’s my store URL?” and she’ll tell you directly.
