Shop Design: Branding Your Store Page

What This Page Does

Shop Design controls how your store looks — your layout template, brand colors, tagline, and maker photos. A well-designed store page builds instant trust and helps customers feel like they’re buying from a real brand.

📌 Note — Your logo and banner image are uploaded in Settings → Store, not here.

The Key Elements

  • Layout Template — choose the overall style of your store page (farmhouse, modern, bold, etc.). Each template affects how your header, product grid, and sections are arranged.
  • Hero Style — the layout of your banner area: full-width, centered text, left-aligned, and more.
  • Brand Colors — your primary and accent colors used for buttons and highlights. Enter your hex codes or pick from the color picker.
  • Tagline — a short line that appears on your store page beneath your shop name. Keep it to one punchy sentence: “Small-batch jams made with love in central Ohio.”
  • Maker Photos — photos of you, your process, or your kitchen that tell your story. These appear in a section on your store page and are one of the most trust-building elements you can add.
  • Card Style — how your product cards look in the grid. Choose from standard, minimal, or bold.

Photography Tips

Natural window light + a clean wooden or marble surface = professional-looking food photos without a professional photographer. Think: Williams Sonoma catalog, but your jam. Shoot during golden hour (morning or late afternoon) for the warmest, most appealing light.

Brand Consistency

Use the same colors and style that appear on your Instagram, packaging, and business cards. Buyers who find you on one platform and then visit your shop should instantly recognize both as the same business.
