What This Page Does

Add New Order lets you build an order for a customer yourself: a phone order, a regular who texted you, a walk-up at your door. The sale lands in your Orders list and your numbers like any online order.

Find it under Orders near the top of your sidebar.

Creating an Order

  1. Add your products and set the quantity for each.
  2. Add the customer: search for someone who has ordered before, or type their name and email. Add an email if you want them to get a confirmation.
  3. Adjust the total if you need to: a discount, a fee or shipping.
  4. Choose what happens next (below), then save.

Getting Paid

  • They pay online — leave it Pending payment, then open the order and email them the payment link. They pay by card.
  • Already paid you — mark it Completed to record the sale.

Tip — Selling at a market or farmstand? Point of Sale is quicker for in-person sales, and records cash and other payments for you.

Add New Order or Custom Orders?

A custom order starts with the customer filling in your form, then you quote. Add New Order starts with you. If you have already talked it through with them, Add New Order is the faster route.

Made One by Mistake?

Change its status to Cancelled and a Delete button appears on the order.
