What This Page Does
My Kitchen Studio → Ingredients & Recipes is where you keep what you buy and what you make with it. Enter it once and the Pricing Calculator, Label Maker, Batch Scaler, Shopping List and Market Planner all use it. No typing the same flour five times. (It used to be called Kitchen Studio.)
Every plan, including Starter. The Stock tab is Maker and Bloom.
Open Ingredients & Recipes →
Ingredient Library
- Press + Add ingredient and enter what you paid for the package, or Bulk paste a whole list at once.
- Using something premade, like a cake mix or frosting? Open This is a premade product and search for it. We fill in the ingredient list from the package. Check it against the box in your hand.
- Tick any Allergens on the ingredient, and your recipes and labels pick them up.
Tip — Update an ingredient’s price when your supplier changes it, and every recipe that uses it is costed again.
My Recipes
- Press + New recipe.
- Fill in the Basics: the name and how much one batch makes.
- Add the Ingredients. Paste your recipe and press Match these up, or add them one at a time.
- Save it. The buttons along the bottom take it straight to Price it, Make a label or Scale a batch.
Stock
The Stock tab keeps track of how much of each ingredient you have, so you find out you are short on flour before midnight, not at it.
- Set How much now and Warn me under on each ingredient.
- Press + Restock after a shopping trip. On Bloom, fill in What did you pay? and it is logged as an expense in your Profit & Loss.
- Ingredients can come off your stock as you mark orders complete or confirm production in Prep & Pack.
- A red number on the Stock tab means something is running low.
Shortcuts
