Kitchen Studio: Ingredients & Recipes

What This Page Does

Kitchen Studio is your digital kitchen binder. It has two main sections: your Ingredient Library (every ingredient you use, with cost and unit data) and My Recipes (your formulas, with auto-calculated batch costs). Together they power the Label Maker, Batch Scaler, Pricing Calculator, and Market Planner.

Building Your Ingredient Library

  1. Go to Kitchen Studio in your dashboard.
  2. Click Add Ingredient.
  3. Enter the ingredient name (e.g., “Organic AP Flour”).
  4. Enter the purchase unit (e.g., 5 lb bag) and purchase price (e.g., $4.50).
  5. The platform automatically calculates cost per ounce / gram so your recipe costs stay accurate.
  6. Repeat for every ingredient you use regularly.

It sounds like work upfront — and it is! — but once your ingredient library is built, every other tool runs off it automatically. You only enter the price once and update it when your supplier changes it.

My Recipes

  1. Click Add Recipe.
  2. Name your recipe (your actual product name).
  3. Add ingredients from your library and specify the quantity used per batch.
  4. The platform calculates your total batch cost and cost per unit automatically.
  5. Add your recipe instructions in the notes field — this is for your eyes only, not customer-visible.
