Market Planner: Preparing for Market Day

What This Page Does

The Market Planner helps you decide what to make and how much to make before each market. You tell it your sales goals and which products you’re bringing; it tells you how many batches to run and generates a prep schedule. No more guessing and either running out at 10am or packing leftovers home at 4pm.


How to Use It

  1. Go to Market Planner (Bloom plan required).
  2. Select the market date and which market you’re attending.
  3. Add the products you plan to bring and set a quantity target for each.
  4. The planner pulls your recipes from Kitchen Studio and calculates the batches you need to run and the total ingredient quantities required.
  5. Review your prep schedule — the planner can break it across multiple days if your quantities require advance prep.
  6. Export or print your market prep checklist.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Track sell-through after each market — if you always bring 24 loaves and sell 22, bring 20 next time and save the batch time.
  • Set quantity targets based on your personal sell-through history, not optimism. 😄
  • The Market Planner automatically generates a consolidated shopping list for any ingredients running low in your ingredient inventory.
