Taking a Break: Store Status and Planned Time Off

Two Ways to Take a Break

Both live in Store Settings → My Store, on the Orders tab, under Store Status. Either way, nothing is deleted: your products, photos, policies and reviews all stay exactly where they are.

Open Store Status →

Leaving Right Now

  1. Flip My store is on a break on.
  2. Write your away message, like “Back Monday the 12th, orders reopen then!” Shoppers see it on your shop page.
  3. Press Save All Changes. Flip it off again when you are back.

Dates You Already Know About

Under Planned time off, press + Add dates and pick your first and last day away, with a message just for those dates if you like. Save, and you are done. Ordering pauses by itself on the first morning and reopens the day after you are back.

Book as many as you like: market weekends, the holidays, that week at the lake. A break that is over disappears by itself.

Tip — Give people a return date. “Back soon” makes shoppers wander off; “Back Monday” makes them bookmark you.

Shop Still Closed After Your Break?

Check that the break toggle is off. If your shop says Orders Closed and you are not on a break, check that Stripe is still connected in Store Settings → Payment.
