Moving to Butter & Sage Market: Bring Your Customers and Reviews
Don’t Start From Zero
Coming from Bakesy, Etsy, Square or somewhere else? You can bring your customers and your reviews with you, so your new shop feels established from the first day.
Your Customer Email List
- Export your contacts from your old platform as a spreadsheet.
- Go to Grow My Business → Email & Text → Import and download the template.
- Copy your contacts into it and upload it.
- Tick the box confirming these are your own contacts who agreed to hear from you, and import.
Duplicates are skipped for you. Have just one or two? Add subscriber adds them one at a time.
About phone numbers — Phone numbers come in saved to your list, but they can’t be texted unless you also confirm you have their texting consent. Texting rules are stricter than email, and this protects you.
Your Reviews
Go to Grow My Business → My Reviews → Platform Reviews and import the reviews you earned on Bakesy, Etsy, Facebook or Google. They show on your shop page, so new shoppers trust you from day one.
Past Orders
There is no one-click importer for old order history yet. If you need it brought over, open a ticket in Admin Support.
Tell Your Customers
Once your shop is ready, email your imported list from Email & Text (Maker and Bloom) with your new short shop link, so they know where to find you.
